School of Accounting Melalui KSM Akuntansi UBAYA Tingkatkan Wawasan Mahasiswa Melalui Company Visit ke PKF Surabaya

Surabaya, November 20, 2025, the School of Accounting through the Accounting Student Study Group (KSM) held a Company Visit to PKF Surabaya. This one-day activity was based on the need and enthusiasm to provide a direct picture of the application of accounting knowledge and the dynamics of industrial work to accounting students in a real way. As the tagline upheld, namely "Step Into Your Sandbox" , the hope of this event is that in addition to providing experience, it can also foster an optimistic and exploratory spirit in students through direct interaction with practitioners in preparing for the world of work after graduation.

The Company Visit began with participants gathering at the UBAYA FTB Multipurpose Building for an opening ceremony, followed by a trip to the " Surprise Destination" at around 9:30 a.m. WIB. Participants were taken on a tour of Jalan Tunjungan, hoping to get to know each other better. During the session, participants and committee members had time to eat, take photos, and have fun together before finally continuing their journey to PKF.

Upon arrival at PKF, participants were divided into 5 groups and taken on a tour of the room. “We were invited to the rooms at PKF, and there we gained a lot of new insights about the world of work, starting from what skills are currently needed to the work culture at PKF,” said Mario (Accounting class of 2025). In addition, from the committee side, Feylie (Accounting class of 2024) as the Chair of the event expressed her very memorable experience. “I feel relieved and very grateful that the event ran smoothly, was fun, and beneficial for the participants, initially it was difficult to find the right company until finally this was paid off with comments from participants who said they were satisfied with this event,” said Feylie. She also added that “Small investments today create big opportunities tomorrow” , so be a person who is not only smart, but also has a work ethic, adaptation, communication and skills that can differentiate us from others.
